Our journey began in 2000 with the establishment of "Carat Kinderhilfe e.V." in Germany, an initiative that continues to thrive today. Building on this success, we replicated our model of compassionate support in Africa in 2001, extending our reach to those who need it most. This deep-rooted experience underscores our commitment to making a real difference in the lives of children.

THE RUZICKA FOUNDATION's heart lies in two core project areas: caring for parentless children and protecting endangered species. Our dedicated efforts include breeding and protecting white rhinos and elephants, safeguarding cheetah populations in Namibia, and conserving mountain gorillas in Rwanda.
